The obverse features a bust of King Alexander I (b1888-d1934) with the legend in Old Cyrillic  ALEXANDER I KING OF THE SERBS, CROATS AND SLOVENES.  Under the bust are crossed pens and the designer's name A. PATEY. The reverse has the crowned denomination 20 DINARA and the date 1925 flanked by privy marks of a cornucopia to the left and a torch to the right (for the Paris mint).  All is encircled by a wreath. King Alexander was assassinated during a state visit to Marseilles,France by an exiled Croat.

This NCLT coin was issued to commemorate the 14th Olympic Games held in Sarajevo in 1984. The obverse features a bust of Marshal Josep Broz Tito (b1892-d1980) with the Serbo-Croat legend XIV ZIMSKE OLIMPIISKE IGRE - SARAJEVO '84. The reverse has the Sarajevo Olympics emblem and the Yugoslav SFR state arms in the center with the crossed hammers mintmark and date 1983 in the center. This is encircled with the nation's name in Serbian (СФР JУГОСΛУВИА) and Croatian (SFR JUGOSLAVIJA).
